Green Car Motel Album Release Delayed Again

The Green Car Motel album has once again been delayed, not because of problems, but because of great feedback from radio. The album, which has two co-writes by Cisco DeLuna, was surveyed at European radio and the feedback apparently was great. Based on raves at radio, the label, Suonix, decided to slot the album for a better release time and decided on spring of next year. No specific date of the release yet.

Kevin Churko Completes Writing and Recording with Ozzy

Kevin Churko just finished co-writing and co-producing Ozzy Osbourne's latest album. The release is tentatively set for the second quarter of next year.

Kevin Churko co-wrote "Crucify the Dead" with Ozzy Osbourne and Slash for Slash's upcoming solo album, to be released next year. The album comes out on Roadrunner Europe.

Five Finger Death Punch Album Opens in Top Ten

Five Finger Death Punch's new album, "War Is The Answer," debuted at No. 7 on the Billboard Top 200 Album chart. The disc moved 44,000 copies. Kevin Churko has two co-writes on the album, "Bulletproof" and "Far from Home."

DeLuna contributes to score; Documentary Nominated for Emmy


Cisco DeLuna contributed music to the score of "The Judge and the General," which has been nominated for an Emmy. The documentary about the trial of Chilean dictator Pinochet in 1998, is a candidate for the award in the category of Outstanding Historical Programming - Long Form. The Awards ceremony takes place September 20 in Los Angeles, at the Nokia Theatre.

Kevin Churko Co-Writes Two Songs with Five Finger Death Punch


Kevin Churko has written two songs with Five Finger Death Punch for their upcoming album, "War is the Answer." The two songs are "Bulletproof" and "Far from Home." The album is due out next week.

Austria on Argentine TV show, "45db"

Austria's live performance on the TV show, "45 db," aired in Argentina tonight. In addition to their live set, the show includes interviews with the band. We hope to obtain the interview portion of the show, soon. You can check out some clips from their performance here.

Ira Black Joins Lorenzo


Former Lizzy Borden guitarist Ira Black has joined Lorenzo. Black, who has also played in other groups including Metal Church, joined the band right before performing at the MMA Big Show, last weekend. (That show is to be scheduled for a future air date.) The Green Car Motel is releasing their first album on Switzerland's Suonix Records. The album will include two Cisco DeLuna co-writes: "Debestar" and "Destino de Abril." The album is set to be released later this year in Europe and Japan.

Kevin Churko Wins His Second Juno!

Kevin Churko wins again for Engineer of the Year for his work on the Simon Collins album, "U-Catastrophe." He was awarded for his recordings of two songs: "Disappearing" and "The Big Bang." Kevin co-wrote both songs with Simon. Churko's first Juno was for his engineering effort on Ozzy Osbourne's "Black Rain."

Lorenzo to perform live at the MMA Big Show, April 11th




Lorenzo is scheduled to perform live at the "Heavy Hitters" event on the CW's MMA Big Show, Saturday, April 11. The night's headliner is between Josh Hendricks and Brian Heden. Check your local listings for the time in your area.

Lorenzo's "Nothin' Left to Talk About" was used in two promo spots leading up to the Big Show's March 7th event, "Retribution."

Kevin Churko Nominated for Juno for Engineer of the Year


Writer/Producer, Kevin Churko gets another Juno nomination for Engineer of the Year. Churko engineered the Simon Collins album, "U-Catastrophe." He also co-wrote and co-produced the album. This is the third Juno nomination for Churko. He was nominated for two Junos last year for his work on Ozzy Osbourne's "Black Rain" album - Engineer of the Year and Producer of the Year. Kevin went on to win the award in the Engineer category.

Lorenzo to release "Love Shape Bruise" with Bonus Track


Rock band, Lorenzo, will be re-releasing their album "Love Shape Bruise" with an additional song.  "Always Something There to Remind Me," the Burt Bacharach/Hal David hit will be added to the disc.  The re-release is due this month.
